New Life
So, I don't have no computer access in me casa so I gotta sit here in the library to punch in this post...oh well.
Yesterday, I drove 4 hrs, moved a bulk of my stuff into a new crib downtown, got my kid off to her first day of school, locked my keys in the car, and started a new job. Dang it was hectic, but rewarding. My new neighborhood is kind of a trip since it is smack dab in the middle of the "city" part of Savannah. I live on the 5th floor which feeds some sort of NYC nostalgia I tend to carry around with me. Great view, but the pad is tiny. I'm hella stoked bout my new job working for one of the local African American Foundations. Working for a non-profit is not so plantationish...that works.
Well I'll be carrying on strangely. Hopefully I will get some internet connect in mi casa sooner than later!
