I Bet You Think This Post Is About You...
...Don't you, dooooon't yooooooou?
(too bad some of those this applies to don't frequent this blog let alone the net)
I cease to amaze myself with my keen ability to constantly expose myself to the linguistic flogging of others. I'm often superbly astonished by my lack of intuition when it come to the recourse of my words by utterly eloquent yet dastard warlocks. I am no longer intrigued and mystified by the incantations of those that are simply sadistic. What doo-doo mojo.
This has been a battle I've have been so ignorantly engaged in for much of my life and from many different sources (both direct and indirect). I, no longer have the ability to ignore such insurgence on my spirit and better judgment with forgiveness and the ability to see beyond the asinine to view something I percieved as a beautiful gift or talent, however latent and misused. But the barage I've be privy most specifically over the past week is another lesson I learned about myself, my tolerance and my personal inflection to such banefulness. If this was an isolated instance I probably would overlook there being anything to learn and walk away with my tail between my legs howling at the moon. But, because of the rampant nature of verbal buckshots I've been catching I will just re-adjust my bullet proof vest and re-write my rule book. I just wish I could figure how I became such a magnet to these evolutionary retardant instances and vexatious entities.
Personal Behavior Modifications;
- I won't try to justify, rationalize or even injest repugnant verbage. That would just make the synapsis in my brain reform to reflect same textbook mental deficiencies that has created the buckshots zooming past my eyeballs and ears.
- I will actively cease all interactions with malevolent energies.
- I won't take it personal.
- I will stop putting myself in the line of fire.
- I will seek to invert the magnetism I have to the above defined matter, seeking to repell rather than attract.
- I will not counter, reciprocate, rebuke, retort or engage in such dynamics, activities or persons.
The only thing I can fix is myself.
