Dead Prez!!!
In response to
a week+ worth of Reagan accolades
and media driven mass alzheimers delusions
about our former "hollywood" prez
I REBUKE with the TRUTH gatdamnit.
REAGANOMICS 101
1. Kept us with enough ready-to-blow nukes to turn Earth into a supernova. I know yall remember being scared we were gonna get blown to smithereens. Childhood paranoia...thanks Ron.
2. "Facts are stupid things" (R.R)- When did the alzheimers set in???
3. Reagan first announced he was running for president in 1980 not in Idaho or his hometown Hollywood. This fool announced it in Philadelphia, MISSISSIPPI. Lease we forget the only notable thing to have happened there up until that point was the murder of three civil rights workers (Andrew Goodman, Michael Schwerner, and James Cheney) in 1964. And what did he tell Mississippi at that time??? "I believe in state's rights." (R.R) Right, right.
4. $640 Pentagon toilet seats.
5. Supported the Ferdinand Marcos and Duvalier (both ousted dictators).
6. Supported and maintained "constructive engagement" with apartheid South Africa while Nelson Mandela was rotting in a cell for decades. Why did he support South Africa you ask? Because it is "a country that has stood by us in every war we've ever fought, a country that, strategically, is essential to the free world in its production of minerals." Right, right! That's not a racist statement?! (Only congress was able to stop his then lunacy by over turning his veto of congress' bill to sanction South Africa)
7. "Homeless by choice" (R.R)- I do remember there being way more of a homeless situation during the golden 80's.
8. Air raids on Libya, killing Kadafi's daughter.
9. "Trees cause more pollution than automobiles do." (R.R)
10. One of his reasons for cutting school lunch programs in the 80's was because ketchup is a vegetable. Genius!
11. Iran Contra = guns for hostages...are you serious and who are you trading these guns with...did you say hostage takers?????????
12. 9/11...that's right...this is the fool that not only sent the CIA to train Osama but gave that fool ammunition and $$$ too!!! Right, Osama wasn't on the payroll *wink*. He helped Osama topple the Soviets in his country thus giving him a very valuable lesson...Goliath can fall. He has used this education well, no?
12. Saddam Hussein - Reagan sent Donald Rumsfeld to go chill with Saddam in December 1983 to establish "direct contact between an envoy of President Reagan and President Saddam Hussein," while emphasizing "his close relationship" with the president. He supported Saddam because of his hard on for Iran.
(Today, 827+ dead American soldiers and over 10,000 dead Iraqi civilians because of a war that was created from Reagan's help in manufacturing both Saddam Hussein and Osama bin Laden.)
13. A.I.D.S. - Lets just mention the fact that Reagan never mentioned the word while thousands were dying right here in the good ol' USA..let alone did he do anything about it. I won't get into my opinion that it was created by those good ol COINTELPRO folks to rid themselves of some undesirables.
14. COINTELPRO - Widely used when Ron was CA GOV. to curb black militants in the late 60's early 70's. It was well used in the 80's too. In 1980 two COINTELPRO officials, L. Patrick Grey and Edward S. Miller, were convicted of having "conspired to injure and oppress the citizens of the United States" while working for COINTELPRO. The never did a day. In 1981, while waiting on their appeal, Reagan pardoned them. He never pardoned any of those that were incarcerated behind these guys and dude like them, like Geronimo Pratt and others. COINTELPRO also flooded the inner cities in the 80's with CRACK while Nancy is running this "Just Say No."
15. Reagan called leaders in groups like the NAACP "race merchants" whose livelihood was generated by concentrating on a mythical racism that didn't exist.
16. Between 81 & 84 long term unemployment for whites increased by 1.5%, it was a 72% increase for blacks. I guess we were all out smoking crack!
And I'm still hearing all this Reagan crap. What the fuck ever.
