Just Another Day
Well I just revamped the etc. page on my site. I likes the rainbows.Naw, I'm not gay. I just like the complete spectrum and color wheels. Hey I'm a colorful person inside and out, or at lease eye think I am.
It's a hot day in Savannah. It's been hot. 90-sumfin ere day and here I am stuck in this office shuckin and jivin (cause I ain't really trying to work too hard for the man). Just my lil corporate hustle. But I'd rather be at the beach where the sunshine keeps me deep. Gotta make the dougnuts. It's hot but I just realized that we don't have that ozone stuff here like I remember from NYC. Ya know that layer of smog that just bakes a city more than nature intends. That stuff that keeps asthmatics in the house most of the summer and can make a person sweat bucket walkin down 6th ave. We have steam coming off the streets some days and humitidy thats usually precursor beautiful thunder&lightning storms, gifts from shango&oya. But no hoes in the hoezone, no shmucks in smog. But here it may be 95 but you'll most always see beautiful blue skies and cumulous clouds that lure you to the shore.
So here I am walking. They don't do that here. More than half of Savannah doesn't even have sidewalks. I'm walking to lunch cause my car is in the shop and I don't pass a soul. Not a one person walking. No wonder the majority of people here are obese. I miss walking. On my walk there were no swaggars and struts to watch. No pretty shoes to peep. No get-ups to chuckle at. Just a bunch of fuckin cars. No wonder people are pissed about the gas. But let think bout water, necessary for long hot Savannah walks. Evian water is 9 oz $1.49 which equals...$21.19 per gallon?! $21.19 for WATER - and the buyers don't even know the source.(provided by
